UHV GPA Calculator

The UHV GPA Calculator helps you estimate how your current and future grades will impact your Grade Point Average (GPA). Use it to explore "what-if" scenarios (e.g., what if you earn two A’s and one C) and plan your academic progress.

How to Use the Calculator

1. Enter Course Information: Add each course individually with the grade you expect to earn and the number of semester hours.
2. Include Multiple Semesters: You can add courses from the same or different semesters to reflect your overall academic history.
3. View Your Estimated GPA: The calculator will display your estimated GPA based on the grades and credit hours you input.

Tip: The calculator does not pull in your current GPA or grades automatically. To see how potential grades will affect your GPA, first review your current grades in myUHV, then manually enter your existing courses and grades into the calculator.

UHV Grading Scale

UHV uses a 4.0 grading scale to calculate GPA, with the formula: GPA = Total Grade Points/Total Semester Hours.

• This calculator is designed for UHV’s grading system. Results are estimates only and should not be considered your official GPA.
• Reminder: Your honors GPA may be different than your cumulative GPA if you have repeated courses.
