2.4 Student Affairs
Student Affairs provides support systems to help students resolve issues that might interfere with their educational goals, as well as programs designed to support a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Student Affairs offers entertaining activities, volunteer opportunities, student organizations, and living and learning communities. Students are expected to make a positive connection to the university, be responsible to self and community, and become lifelong learners. Student Affairs supports students in their efforts to become active, confident, and involved members of the University community.
The vice president for student affairs supervises the Career Development Center, Student Life, Residence Life, Student Services, and Police and Security Services.
