Notice of Award
The ORSP will issue a Notice of Award (NOA) when an award is accepted on behalf of the University and the awarding agency. The NOA is created specifically to meet the award requirements with the PI’s input to aid in administering the award including any special conditions or restrictions. The content of the NOA normally includes the agency award number, the unique award cost center information, technical and financial reporting requirements, the approved budget identifying the categories of expenses, monthly expenditures, and allowable account codes. The NOA is saved in the Sponsored Program folder on the University’s shared drive. The ORSP maintains and is responsible for updating the NOA. The PI has full access to the NOA, and additional access is provided at his/her discretion to other departmental or key personnel.
