Class Notebook – This product functions like OneNote, but targeted more towards faculty. Class Notebooks make it possible to have a personal workspace for every student, a content library for handouts and a collaboration space for lessons and creative activities. Your lesson plans and course content can be organized within your own digital notebook and shared with your students.

Forms – Allows you to quickly and easily create custom quizzes, surveys, questionnaires, registrations and more. You can invite others to respond to your created and you can view results using built-in analytic tools. You can also export the results to Excel for additional analysis in tools such as SPSS.

Newsfeed – Newsfeed works in conjunction with SharePoint where social interactions can be summarized. Community conversations and micro blogs can put this social information in one easy to navigate location. The Newsfeed can be used to post news and information and even collaborate with others.

OneDrive for Business Usage Guide
OneNote – Intended for free-form information gathering and multi-user collaboration. Allows you to gather notes (handwritten or typed), drawings, screen clippings and audio commentaries into ‘pages’ organized into ‘sections’ within ‘notebooks’. OneNote notebooks can also be shared with other OneNote users.

Planner** – This product allows you to create task or job related plans that help you to organize and assign tasks, share files and get updates on the progress through a particular plan. Within a particular plan you can attach files to tasks and even collaborate with others on those files.

**Due to some ‘behind-the-scenes’ actions that occur when a new Plan is created, Technology has currently restricted the creation of new Plans to a small and select group. If you wish to be able to create plans, or if you want Information Technology to create one for you and others to use, please email your request to Application Services.
SharePoint Online– SharePoint is used to create websites where workgroups can store, organize, share and access information relevant to a particular job or task. The SharePoint Online product gives you the same abilities that an on-premises SharePoint server does, only it is cloud-based.

Word, PowerPoint, Excel - These Office 365 products are online versions of the applications that run locally on your work or personal devices. The functionality is the same and files created and edited within them are automatically saved onto your OneDrive for Business unless you specify an alternate save location.
Yammer – Yammer is a private, secure social network that allows people to collaborate securely across departments. It helps to communicate company-wide information and to increase team efficiency.
