University is open and operational. On-campus Housing is open and Dinning will resume for fall 2020. Fall 2020 operational plan will be released soon. International students planning to return to the U.S. from abroad are strongly recommended NOT to make travel plans until mid-July and plan to arrive no later than 14-days prior to any campus activity start date. F-1 students are recommended to remain at UHV at this time. If students wish to return home students can return home, but strongly recommended to check with CDC for possibility of their return to the U.S. We cannot confirm that students will be able to return to the U.S. once departed. The U.S. Embassies are temporary closed. If students are able to return and have plans to return to the U.S. students must be prepared to be self-quarantined for 14 days prior to any activity start date for fall 2020. UHV at Katy International Student Advising Hours
Monday and Thursday: 10am to 3pm (by appointment)
Walkin Hours: Monday and Thursday 10am to 5pm.
I-20 requests and updated must be submitted in writing and will take 5-7 business days.
COVID-19 Enrollment Check and Immigration Maintenance
F-1 and J-1 Students remaining in the U.S. must follow all guidelines set forth by faculty in taking courses online. Students must complete assigned tasks and assignments. IP advisors will check with faculty your participation and submission of course work until May 8th 2020.
