Login to canvas.uhv.edu using your regular credentials.
To review the maintenance times, sign into the Canvas LMS and click Account + Settings and review the listed maintenance schedule under the Time Zone option.

July 10, 2025 7:11 AM - UHV - TurnItIn Maintenance August 9, 2025
TurnItIn will be unavailable Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. (CST) (approximately 6 hours). The TurnItIn vendor will be updating TurnItIn during this maintenance window, so features will be unavailable in the Canvas LMS during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.
June 16, 2025 9:41 AM - UHV Fall 2025 Semester Start Dates
The UHV Fall 2025 semester begins Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Please review the important Fall 2025 semester information below regarding the UHV Canvas system.
- Tuesday, August 19, 2025: first day new students registered for Canvas online courses for the Fall regular & 8W1 terms can log into Canvas
- Tuesday, September 2, 2025: first day students can access Canvas online course information for the Fall regular & 8W1 terms
- Tuesday, October 14, 2025: first day new students registered for Canvas online courses for the Fall 8W2 term can log into Canvas
- Monday, October 27, 2025: first day students can access Canvas online course information for the Fall 8W2 term
- Not sure if you are registered for a regular, 8W1, or 8W2 term course...check the UHV course offerings page and search for your specific course to find out
- To resolve issues, confirm you're successfully registered for a Canvas online course, you're accessing information on the correct date (see above), you've changed your pre-expired password; check with your Online Support Technician for help and assistance

The deadline for the UHV Fall 2025 graduation application is Friday, October 10, 2025.
Date: Friday, October 10, 2025
Please complete the following steps:
- Apply online at myUHV.
- Choose UHV Self Service.
- Select Degree Progress/Graduation.
Select Apply for Graduation.
March 10, 2025 8:29 AM - Summer 2025 Graduation Deadline
The deadline for the UHV Summer 2025 graduation application is Friday, June 27, 2025.
