Virtual Orientation Sessions
Orientation is an opportunity for individuals to begin to express their roar at the University of Houston-Victoria (UHV). It is an event specifically designed for new college students who will be attending UHV in the fall and want to discover everything our institution has to offer. At Orientation, students will learn about campus resources and opportunities, and will be prepared to acclimate and rise to success at UHV. We'll give you all the information you need to feel confident for your first day of class. Orientation Leaders, faculty, and staff members will guide students through this experience.
Orientation is typically an event that is held in person on the Victoria or Katy campus. However, due to COVID-19, all 2020 summer Orientation sessions will be held virtually online.
All students who plan to attend a Virtual Orientation session must register ahead of time to participate. You must have adequate Internet and technology access to get the most out of attending our live Virtual Orientation sessions. However, for those that have limited access or miss the session, recordings of all Virtual Orientation presentations will be made available on our website within one week of the event.
