Veteran's Educational Benefits
UHV is approved by the Texas Education Agency to certify VA educational benefits for veterans and children or spouses of veterans.
A Financial Aid Specialist in the Office of Financial Aid is available to assist student veterans in applying for benefits. To expedite payments, veterans should contact the Financial Aid Specialist at least 60 days prior to the first class day of each semester or term to complete all necessary paperwork for that period of study.
