JP’s Market Food Pantry

JP's Market Food Pantry

JP’s Market is a free and anonymous resource to help eliminate food insecurity on our campus. It is open to all currently enrolled students at The University of Houston-Victoria, as well as Victoria College. The Market gives students access to food and hygiene products at least once a week, with no limit on how many times they can return. We offer a variety of foods to ensure students can focus on academics, and not on where they are getting their next meal. Students can also find information on various local resources, as well as government assistance programs. JP’s Market is supported by a partnership with The Food Bank of the Golden Crescent, as well as donations from UHV students, staff, faculty and community members.

JP’s Market is now open for Summer 2024 on Wednesdays from 1-3 P.M. The market is located at Jaguar Hall, Suite 1135.

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online at: https://www.usda.gov/sites/default/files/documents/ad-3027.pdf, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:

Career Closet

The Career Closet provides professional and non-professional clothing items to students at no cost to them. All items in the Career Closet are donated from faculty, staff, students and community members who want to help UHV students. Professional clothing items available include blazers, suits, blouses, collared shirts, pants, skirts and dress coats. Non-professional clothing items are also available inside of the Career Closet.
