Join us for our third annual UHV Alumni Career Panel, during Homecoming Week. Hear from some of our incredible alumni, who have found rewarding careers and learn how they have developed into leaders of their communities. Panelist details coming soon!
Reaching for the Stars Kickoff* | 6-9 p.m. | Pyramid Row
Join us as we kickoff our most spirited Homecoming yet, "Reaching for the Stars", happening in the U-Parking Lot! Cheer on our athletes, meet your 2025 Homecoming Court, and enjoy a live musical performance! The first 100 students to check in will receive a free Homecoming T-shirt!

International Space Station Showdown | 5-7 p.m. | UHV Katy Lobby
Join us for some Homecoming fun in Katy! We'll have free Homecoming T-shirts for the first 50 students, fun games, and photos with jaX!
Interstellar Block Party | 9 p.m.-Midnight | University Commons, Lobby & Multi-Purpose Room
Join us for a fun night of fun as we Reach for the Stars! We'll be serving free food and have multiple activities, including DIY flower headbands, Tie-Dye station, mini games and karaoke! We'll also have a costume contest, so be sure to dress in your best space themed attire.
Wednesday, April 23
Spirit Cup "Starlight" Showcase | 10 a.m.-2 p.m. | UHV Campus-Participating Locations
The Jaguar Spirit Cup Competition is an annual Homecoming tradition that gives offices on campus the opportunity to show off their Jaguar spirit. Campus departments will decorate the outside or front area of their offices, and students will vote for who has the most spirit! The Jaguar Spirit Cup will be awarded based on originality, Jaguar spirit, creativity, and overall appearance. More details on JagSync!
Retired Faculty & Staff Lunch | Noon-1:30 p.m. | University Commons, Multi-Purpose Room

Tenth Annual Talent Show* | 7-9 p.m. | University North, Galvan Community Hall
Join us for the 10th Annual Talent Show during Homecoming Week. You won’t want to miss this performance of talented UHV students! Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place winners decided by a panel of judges and the audience. It's going to be a great show and we hope to see you there!

Join us for an day of fun competitions and mini games! Gather your friends and form a team to tackle a series of exciting games scattered across campus. Race against the clock to complete as many games as possible in record time. Don't miss out on the ultimate test of teamwork, skill, and school spirit!
Downtown Rhythms* | 7-9 p.m. | DeLeon Plaza
Since 1974, our carefully curated concert series has featured everything from incredible international soloists to inspiring full-orchestral experiences. Whatever this season holds, there is a performance sure to enrich and entertain anyone.
Friday, April 25
Alumni Banquet* | 6:30-9 p.m. | Power Avenue Warehouse
The evening includes a beer and wine reception, dinner, door prizes, university update from President Bob Glenn, and award presentations. All UHV alumni and friends of the university are invited to join us for this event. Dress is business or cocktail attire. Tickets are $30 a person and you can register on UHVConnect.
Dancing Through the Stars | 7-10 p.m. | University Commons, Multi-Purpose Room
Join us for a night of music and fun! The 2025 Homecoming Dance will be a night you will always remember. There will be free food, a live DJ, and fun times.
Saturday, April 26
President's Tailgate* | 11 a.m.-1 p.m. | Riverside Stadium
Join the UHV President for free food, fun games and giveaways and help us cheer on our Jaguars! The first 100 students to attend will receive a free Red Out Game t-shirt. We will also be crowning this year's Jaguar Royals!
Jaguars Baseball Doubleheader* | Noon | Riverside Stadium
UHV Baseball vs. LSU Alexandria
Get ready to rally and wear your brightest red as we cheer on our men’s baseball team in an showdown against the LSU Alexandria Generals! Help us pack the stadium by bringing your friends, making some noise, and showing our team the support they deserve! It’s time to hit a home run for UHV!
For our Saturday HOCO events, transportation will be provided from UHV Katy to Victoria. A shuttle will pick up students from UHV Katy at 9 a.m. on Sat., April 26 and the shuttle will leave Victoria that evening at 4 p.m. to return students back to UHV Katy around 6 p.m. If you are interested in utilizing the provided transportation, you must complete the Katy Student Homecoming Transportation form by Fri., April 18 at noon.
