Career Fairs and Events
UHV generally hosts or participates in several career fairs and other recruiting and networking events each year. Events include our Life After College Series, Mingle by Major, Mock Interview events and more. Registration information, when applicable, can be found by logging into Jobs for Jags.
Education Job Fair – Held every Fall and Spring at our main campus in Victoria and at UHV Katy.
UHV Career Fair – Held every Spring. This fair is intended to connect Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate students with employers offering internships or career-focused jobs.
Texas Job Fair – Sponsored by the Houston Area Consortium of Career Centers; comprised of 14 university members including UHV. The Texas Job Fair is offered every spring. For more information and details www.haccc.org.
Part-Time Job Fair - Held every year in the fall, this fair is hosted on our main campus in Victoria.
Event Sponsorship
Event sponsorships are available for most UHV Career Development Center events. Event sponsors will be guaranteed a spot at the event as well as have their contribution acknowledged in all marketing material for the event.
Where to Post Jobs and Review Posted Resumes?
Employers have two options for posting jobs and reviewing resumes with UHV:
- Jobs for Jags is UHV's student and alumni job board where employers can post job announcements and search for resumes at no charge.
- NACE JOBWIRE is a nationwide job board sponsored by the National Association of Colleges and Employers. Jobs announcements can be posted for a nominal fee.
