UHV fall 2024 commencement ceremonies to be held in Victoria
The University of Houston-Victoria is happy to announce that the fall 2024 commencement ceremonies will be held in Victoria this year after hosting the fall ceremonies in Katy since the early 2000s.
Graduates, their families and friends are invited to celebrate together on Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Victoria Fine Arts Center, 1002 Sam Houston Drive.
The shift from Katy to Victoria reflects the university’s commitment to creating a deeper connection between graduates and their alma mater’s roots in the Victoria community. The decision was also influenced by financial and strategic considerations, with the ultimate goal of creating a meaningful and memorable experience for all participants.
Three ceremonies will take place throughout the day on Dec. 14:
- 9 a.m. – College of Education & Health Professions
- Noon – College of Business
- 3 p.m. – College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences and College of Natural & Applied Science.
The ceremonies will also be live streamed at www.uhv.edu/commencement.
