The M. Ed. in Special Education ABA is aligned with the BACB® course work requirements for credentialing as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The following courses found in the M.Ed. Special Education ABA Degree Plan meet the Board’s course work requirements and are verified by the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI): SPED 6325, SPED 6331, SPED 6332, SPED 6335, SPED 6338, SPED 6340, SPED 6346. Students seeking certification as a behavior analyst will independently complete supervision experience hours to qualify to sit for the BCBA® exam. UHV does not provide supervision for experience hours. Students must find a supervisor on their own. Typically, students in this program are already working in clinics and schools and have arranged to receive supervision from qualified BCBAs at their work site.
