UHV students de-stress with help of puppies

Puppy Play Date event
Computer science sophomore Escynce Cunningham, left, and information technology junior Alberto Benavidez, right, pet one of the many puppies during the Puppy Play Date event Tuesday at the University of Houston-Victoria. The puppies were brought on campus by Victoria County Animal Services. The event, made possible through a collaboration between the UHV Counseling Center and Student Government Association, offered students, faculty and staff the chance to unwind during mid-term exams on the lawn behind University Center.

The University of Houston-Victoria, located in the heart of the Coastal Bend region since 1973 in Victoria, Texas, offers courses leading to more than 50 academic programs in the schools of Arts & Sciences; Business Administration; and Education, Health Professions & Human Development.
