UHV releases new edition of campus magazine

The University of Houston-Victoria is excited to announce that the second edition of the UHV Magazine is hot off the presses. This year’s issue features a wide range of articles covering topics including a profile about four siblings who are UHV students, the eSports student organization, a student teacher profile, a student athlete’s story, a question-and-answer session with an international student, a look ahead at the upcoming Health & Wellness Center and even a roundup of last year’s 50th anniversary celebration. The magazine also contains a special gift for readers. Copies of the magazine are available on UHV’s campus. Alumni and community members are welcome to come by and pick up a copy.

The University of Houston-Victoria, located in the heart of the Coastal Bend region since 1973 in Victoria, Texas, offers courses leading to more than 50 academic programs in the schools of Arts & Sciences; Business Administration; and Education, Health Professions & Human Development. UHV provides face-to-face classes at its Victoria campus, as well as an instructional site in Katy, Texas, and online classes that students can take from anywhere. UHV supports the American Association of State Colleges and Universities Opportunities for All initiative to increase awareness about state colleges and universities and the important role they have in providing a high-quality and accessible education to an increasingly diverse student population, as well as contributing to regional and state economic development.
