Computer Security Awareness Training for Students

Computer Security Awareness Training for Students (CSATS) was designed with the help of students and uses Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, online videos and games to teach students how to protect their computers, personal information and UHV computers from hackers, phishers, spammers, and other risks. Students will learn about their shared responsibility to create a safe computing environment on campus.

CSATS is an educational, engaging and fun website filled with helpful security information about email, passwords, copyright, peer-to-peer file-sharing, identity theft, social networking, protecting computers, laptops and mobile devices and much more.

After completing the training, students will be able to:

  • Identify computer security risks.
  • Take the appropriate actions to reduce those risks.
  • Understand basic computer security practices.
