Deadlines
Your completed application and all supporting documents must be received by the dates listed below:
- To apply for admission at University of Houston-Victoria all international students must apply through ApplyTexas.org.
- Log into ApplyTexas and follow the steps provided.
- The ApplyTexas application is the preliminary step in becoming a UHV Jaguar. It is your responsibility to submit the required supporting documentation according to your admissions level. Check the side menu (Graduate Admissions or Undergraduate Requirements) for information regarding this documentation.
Applications and documents received after the deadline may be used for admission to the next available semester. If you submit the ApplyTexas application or any supporting documents after the deadline has already past, please connect with the International Programs Office. International Programs may review applications past the deadline on an individual base. No final approval or I-20 will be issued unless all of the admission procedures and requirements are met.
Note: Some degree programs may have specific deadlines as determined by the academic College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences; College of Natural and Applied Science; College of Business Administration; or College of Education, Health Professions, and Human Development.
Undergraduate Priority Deadlines: Students Outside the US
Fall semester - June 15th (students may apply until July 15th, apps will be reviewed case-by-case)
Spring semester - November 15 (students may apply until December 10th, apps will be reviewed case-by-case, due to holidays closures admissions maybe delayed)
International U.S. Undergraduate Transfer Deadlines:
Fall semester - August 18th (temporary extended)
Spring semester - January 3rd

The above-mentioned deadlines are priority deadlines. If a student wish to apply to UHV later than the published deadlines above, we strongly recommend students to connect with the International Programs at international@uhv.edu and to apply no later than the dates listed above. UHV will process applications, however, it is the student's responsibility to make sure the student is able to secure the U.S. visa and arrive to UHV prior to the listed Mandatory Orientation date. Scholarship deadline is June 15th for fall semester, November 15th for spring semester.
