UHV Katy Closed Friday, Sept. 20

UHV Katy will remain closed Friday, Sept. 20, due to severe weather conditions throughout the Houston area. Please use discretion and check Houston Transtar (traffic.houstontranstar.org/layers/) for roadway conditions. The University of Houston-Victoria will continue to monitor this situation and advise on changes to operational status at www.uhv.edu/emergency-management/alert/. UHV operations in Victoria will continue as scheduled.

UHV Katy Closed, Travel Discouraged

UHV Katy has discontinued operations for the remainder of Thursday, Sept. 19, due to worsening severe weather conditions throughout the Houston area. Shuttle service will continue to operate as conditions allow. On-campus services are open but may be limited. Anyone currently on campus is advised to remain here until conditions improve. Please use discretion and check Houston Transtar (traffic.houstontranstar.org/layers/) for roadway conditions. The University of Houston-Victoria will continue to monitor this situation and advise on changes to operational status at www.uhv.edu/emergency-management/alert/. UHV operations in Victoria will continue as scheduled.

UHV at Katy is continuing operations today

UHV Katy is continuing operations today. However, due to severe weather conditions throughout the Houston area and the unpredictable nature of this storm, students who are unable to attend class will not be penalized. Faculty and staff unable to attend work or class should contact their immediate supervisor. Anyone currently on campus is encouraged to remain here until conditions improve. If you must travel, use discretion and check Houston Transtar (https://traffic.houstontranstar.org/layers/) for roadway conditions.
