University Scholarship and Financial Aid

M.G. and Lillie A. Johnson Foundation
The University of Houston-Victoria’s new RN to BSN online program currently has funds available to assist with Nursing Program tuition and fees. Scholarships available are from the M.G. and Lillie A. Johnson Foundation.
Nursing program scholarships are available for RN to BSN full-time and part-time students who live in the Coastal Bend Area, which comprises of the following counties: Aransas, Bee, Calhoun, Colorado, Dewitt, Goliad, Gonzales, Jackson, Karnes, Lavaca, Matagorda, Refugio, Victoria, and Wharton.
Johnson Nursing Program Scholarship criteria:
- Full-time or part-time nursing student
- Minimum GPA 2.0
- Scholarships are non-need based
- Recipients can be full time, ¾ time, ½ time or less than half time
Johnson Scholars Award pays full tuition, fees, and books (course materials). The criteria for this scholarship is:
- Full-time student
- Excellent academic record, which is a GPA of 3.50 or greater
- Demonstrated leadership potential
- Faculty/Supervisor Recommendation – Leadership Excellence Form
Complete the Nursing Program Scholarship Application (Johnson Scholars Application will require the Recommendation form and return via mail or fax). Do not leave any questions unanswered/incomplete. We will not consider incomplete applications. Upon completion of the application:
