MEd Curriculum & Instruction, Literacy Studies, Reading Specialist: You’ll take core curriculum and instruction classes in addition to classes in literacy theory and practice. The reading specialist master’s places special emphasis on teaching effective strategies for assisting children who struggle with reading and requires students to become reading specialist certified.
