Curriculum & Instruction, Elementary Science Education
Elementary education teachers help children learn and grow and prepare them for the next stages in their education. The MEd in curriculum and instruction, elementary science education concentration helps you do just that by enhancing your teaching and classroom skills and providing you the opportunity to do research within your interest area.
Before you get started, you’ll need
- A bachelor’s degree
- The prerequisites required by the education college’s admissions policy
- Appropriate teaching or related experience
- Access to a computer, webcam, and high-speed Internet as well as basic computer and word-processing skills
Degrees You Can Earn
MEd in Curriculum & Instruction, Elementary Science Education: In addition to required courses in curriculum and instruction, you’ll take science-teaching-specific courses such as applications of physics for teachers, earth science, and science methods for teachers.
Your degree will culminate in the Master’s Comprehensive Examination, which will cover the content of one education core course and the content of two courses within your major area.
