Apply now for a full scholarships for MEd Counseling Coastal Bend or MEd Counseling Greater Houston
The UHV School of Education, Health Professions & Human Development recently received a $2.54 million grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration, a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The grant is being used for student scholarships for underrepresented populations, such as minority students, students from low-income families or first-generation college students.
Apply Now for a full scholarship to study graduate-level counselor education at UHV. The scholarship covers tuition and fees for students pursuing a Master of Education in clinical mental health counseling.
To be eligible for the grant, students must:
- Enroll as a full-time graduate student.
- Complete three semesters of a practicum or internship in an integrated behavioral health care field placement located in a medically underserved community.
- Finish the clinical mental health counseling program within two years.
