MEd in Adult & Higher Education, Higher Education Track
If you currently work in a higher education setting—perhaps as faculty, staff, an advisor, student affairs professional, or administrator—the Master of Education in adult and higher education, higher education track, might be for you.
Offered completely online, the program helps students develop the leadership skills needed to guide college students through the unique challenges they face and provides master’s credentials for career advancement.
Before you get started, you’ll need
- A bachelor’s degree
- The prerequisites required by the education college’s admissions policy
- Access to a computer and high-speed Internet as well as basic computer and word-processing skills
Degrees You Can Earn
MEd Adult & Higher Education, Higher Education Track: In addition to the requirements you must meet for the MEd in adult and higher education, you will take 15 credit hours of specialized higher education coursework, such as higher education finance and college student development.
You must pass the Master Comprehensive Exam to receive your degree. The exam includes two questions from core courses and one from a specialty course.
