Writing Center
The Writing Center is now using Upswing to schedule its face-to-face and online appointments. Please log in at uhv.upswing.io to view our current schedule and make an appointment with a writing consultant. As you make an appointment, it’s important to ensure that you’re meeting with a tutor labeled as: UHV tutor. All students can access our face-to-face, synchronous, and asynchronous appointments with UHV consultants. For writing submissions, please use the Submit an Assignment for Review to tutor@uhv.edu.
Note: There is a 3-5 business day grace period on returning the documents for review.
All other tutoring requests can be made through the Meet with a Tutor module. Students may also make appointments through our AI assistant, Ana, by texting (361) 245-5525.
Please be aware that we will need written permission from an instructor before we can review essay exams.
