Update About Exterior Doors from UHV President Bob Glenn

Colleagues:

As you will recall, we sent out a communication in early December indicating that UHV was moving back to Phase 2, and that during winter break, exterior building doors would be locked even though offices would be open. As we approach the opening of the spring semester, the Executive Committee has approved a slight change. Beginning Monday, Jan. 11, the exterior doors to all buildings will be unlocked during business hours. In order to control access to your office area, the front door to the office area can be locked, but instructions will need to be posted indicating how to gain admittance. An example would be: We Are Open. Please Knock.

The Executive Committee continues to monitor conditions and will be making a decision in the coming week about which phase we will be in as we enter the spring term. We will communicate that decision as soon as it is made. Thank you for your continued cooperation. We have had a difficult year, but better times are ahead. If we continue to work together in the coming year, as we have during the past year, we will be a stronger community. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
