Student FAQ from UHV President Bob Glenn
Dear UHV Faculty, Staff and Students,
I am pleased to provide an update on the two UHV community individuals I have shared information about in the previous week. In the first case we had a worker who self-reported having been in contact with one of the confirmed COVID 19 individuals here in Victoria. After undergoing quarantine, the individual has remained without symptoms. The second case was a student who went to the Emergency Room on Saturday and was tested for the virus. The tests for that individual came back negative. So both potential cases have been resolved. I want to emphasize that every person involved in both situations immediately and completely complied with all measures designed to protect the community.
A Frequently Asked Questions section for students has been added to UHV’s COVID-19 website. We hope that the answers to these questions will help not only students, but also faculty and staff who may be asked these questions.
