Summer Course Offerings Email from UHV Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs Chance Glenn

Dear UHV Faculty, Students and Staff,

UHV recently transitioned to online-only classes for the remainder of the spring semester after smoke and fire damage in University West made that building unusable. The COVID-19 pandemic then further reinforced that decision in order to keep our faculty, staff and students safe.

After much discussion, we have decided to continue with online-only course offerings through the first summer session starting June 1. Although we had hoped that it would not come to this, there is too much uncertainty right now that we can safely offer face-to-face classes at the beginning of the summer. We will announce a decision about the remaining summer sessions as we get more clarity.

We will continue to keep you informed about UHV and all we are doing to protect the safety and well-being of faculty, staff and students. The COVID-19 webpages are being updated every day, we encourage you to check them frequently.

Sincerely.
Chance Glenn
