Volunteers Needed for March 2 & 4 Vaccine Clinics from UHV President Bob Glenn
Dear UHV Faculty, Staff and Students,
The Victoria Office of Emergency Management and Victoria County Public Health Department are asking for UHV volunteers (students, staff and faculty) for COVID-19 vaccination clinics taking place Tuesday, March 2, and Thursday, March 4. Volunteers are needed to assist with registering and helping attendees complete paperwork, directing traffic, and completing data entry into the vaccination database system.
Both of the COVID-19 mass vaccination clinics will be held at the Victoria Community Center, 2905 E. North St. A second-dose clinic will take place Tuesday,and a first-dose clinic will take place Thursday. Those who volunteer on either day can receive the vaccine during the first-dose clinic on Thursday, March 4.
Volunteers are needed for the following shifts:
Tuesday: 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or 12:30-5 p.m.
Thursday: 7 a.m.-noon or noon-5 p.m.
