Victoria Vaccine Clinic – Volunteers Needed from UHV President Bob Glenn
Dear UHV Faculty, Staff and Students,
UHV has received word that on Thursday, Feb. 4, the Victoria Office of Emergency Management and Victoria County Public Health Department will hold another first-dose COVID-19 mass vaccination clinic at the Victoria Community Center. Those in Tiers 1A and 1B are eligible for the vaccine but must have an appointment.
Appointments will be available starting Wednesday through 1-888-966-5640 or www.victoriatxcovidvaccines.com. They will not be available until then. To receive the most recent updates, sign up for alerts through the Swift 911 Emergency Notification System. Text the word ADD to 361-433-4554 for further information.
In addition, the Victoria Office of Emergency Management needs volunteers during the clinic to assist with registration and data entry into the vaccine database system. RN/BSN students or students who are clinically inclined also are needed. Those who volunteer may be able to receive the vaccine. Volunteers are needed all day or from 8 a.m. to noon or noon to 5 p.m.
