Students who live on the UHV Victoria campus or within 50 miles of UHV’s Victoria campus are eligible to use the Community Health Centers of South Central Texas as their primary care provider, without any other form of insurance.

The health center is conveniently located across Houston Highway from Jaguar Village, in front of the Citizens ER. The co-pay will be no more than $25 per visit. Some students may qualify for a smaller co-pay by providing a copy of their financial aid eligibility, which should show their Expected Family Contribution (EFC). This is available through the financial aid section in PeopleSoft.

To set up an appointment call (361)576-2110 or visit the health center (2603 Hospital Drive, Victoria, TX 77901).

When you attend your first appointment, you will need to bring:

  • A Texas State issued ID or a UHV Student ID card to show eligibility
  • Proof of address (can print from myUHV)
  • Proof of financial eligibility (FAFSA print-out, available on myUHV)

You will be asked to arrive approximately 1 hour early before your first appointment to complete paperwork.

Clinic Hours:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8 am - 5 pm

Tuesday: 8 am - 8 pm
