Texas Labor Market Review, a monthly newsletter of the Labor Market Information Department of the Texas Workforce Commission, provides current information and statistics about the Texas economy generally, and the Texas labor force specifically. Each issue contains a brief overview of the Texas economy, an in-depth feature article, and highlights of employment figures important to the Texas economy. The TLMR is a PDF publication.
LMCI's Economic Profiles are designed to give a brief fact filled one-page snapshot of an area economy. The economic profiles cover Texas as a whole and by industry, the Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA), and the Workforce Development Areas (WDA). Each profile is updated monthly, and is displayed as an Acrobat PDF file for easy downloading.
Transitions Abroad is a bimonthly magazine of practical information for independent-minded travelers who want to experience the thrills and lifelong rewards of immersion abroad. Each issue covers the alternatives to mass tourism: learning, living, working, studying and volunteering abroad, as well as vacationing with the people of the host country.
