The Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics (BBA in Economics) program provides students with an opportunity to learn from some of the world’s greatest business and economic minds. With a BBA in Economics, you will be prepared to take on the business world and make a valuable impact in today’s private and public sector of the economy.

First Step to Your Undergraduate Economics Program

To complete the Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics (BBA in Economics) and move on to a graduate degree, students must complete 120 credit hours, with 42 hours coming from general core curriculum courses.

The remainder of the credits come from lower division and upper division business core courses, plus courses specific to your economics concentration. This includes courses like Macroeconomics, Microeconomics and Money and Banking.

Business core courses can be taken online or in person. Courses specific to the economics concentration can be taken in Katy or Victoria.

A BBA in Economics puts you on the fast-track toward a Strategic MBA, which will open the door to more advanced job opportunities.
