The first step is to get on our contact list by filling out a Request for Information form. Once we have your contact information, a resource person will be in touch. Then you should submit an admissions application. The application can be found at ApplyTexas.org.
While we are busy working to get your student accounts set up, ask any questions that might be on your mind. We have recruiters located in Victoria, Houston, Austin, San Antonio and the Rio Grande Valley. If you do not live in any of these areas, email us at email@example.com, and we will have someone reach out to you ASAP.
There is no substitute for visiting campus in person. Allow us to show you around, answer your questions, and demonstrate why UHV just might be the perfect fit for you. We offer tours Monday through Friday throughout the year. In addition, we offer three preview events called Jaguar Days. Watch our website for notices about other events.
Recruitment Ambassadors are an exclusive group of student leaders who exemplify what it means to be a UHV Jaguar. When you schedule a campus tour, one of our recruitment ambassadors will show you around campus and answer your questions about life at UHV. To become an ambassador, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- 2.5 grade-point average
- Enrolled full time
- In good academic standing
- Available to work some nights and weekends
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, outgoing personality and pride in UHV
