The Budget Department provides accurate and timely information regarding the budget functions of the University of Houston-Victoria. The Department assists the Budget Committee in the annual budget cycle, prepares and implements the annual operating budget, verifies approved budget to the financial and payroll systems and maintains the integrity of data throughout the year other responsibilities include monitor departmental cost centers throughout the year, preparing the biennial Legislative Appropriations Request (LAR), and developing systems and procedures to assure uniform budget practices that adhere to the policies of the University, UH System, and the State of Texas.

The purpose of the Department of Business Services is to provide services in student billing, campus mail services, emergency, safety and risk management, campus vending, contract administration and leasing, parking administration services, record retention, University Procard Services, University purchasing and HUB services.

The mission of the Department of Capital Projects and Construction is to design and deliver exceptional projects that maximize value and support university growth and student success. The Department of Capital Projects was developed by UHV administrators to manage construction and renovations.
Facility Services Building
The purpose of the Facilities Services Department is to provide safe, clean, attractive, and functional facilities and grounds creating an environment that contributes significantly in meeting the University's overall mission. Responsibilities include property management, conduct annual inventory, building and key access, managing the workplace recycling policy, and disposal of surplus property.
University West, Suite 115
The Finance Department is responsible for the overall integrity of the fiscal activities. In that capacity, the department oversees fiscal compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and with University of Houston System and University policies. The department is responsible for also accountable to the University and outside entities through its generation and distribution of internal and external reports on the financial status of the University. The responsibilities of the Finance Department are accounts payable, cashiering, financial reporting, property asset reporting, central receiving, state reporting, and PeopleSoft training.
University Center, Suite 207
The Information Technology Department provides computer and telecommunication support for faculty, staff, and students. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining academic and administrative server systems, microcomputers, campus network operations, telecommunications services, and interactive video operations. Information Technology also operates and supervises six microcomputer labs and two special projects rooms supporting academic computing. The department provides a variety of training courses for faculty and staff on software and technology topics. It also develops and maintains application programs and data access applications in support of administrative functions.
