Clearing Java Cache

To clear Java Cache, do the following:

Windows XP or Vista

• Close all browser windows.
• Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Java Plug-in
• The following steps vary depending on your version of Java, but you want to find the button that lets you clear the cache (or Temporary Internet Files for newer versions of Java) and click it.
• To confirm that you have cleared the Java Cache, you can go to the location of the cache and check that the files have been removed.
• If the problem is not resolved, repeat this process. Some users have had to repeat this process 2-3 times to completely clear the Java Cache.

Mac

• Close all browser windows.
• Go to Hard drive -> Applications -> Utilities -> Java Plugin Settings -> Cache -> Clear -> Yes -> Reset
