McAfee Virus Update/Upgrade
Information
Virus Definition File (DAT):
Updates for McAfee VirusScan ensure that your virus protection
is constantly updated as cures for new virus threats are published. The cures
are included in a virus definition file called a DAT file.
Note:
This file should be executed
via Internet Explorer.
Click on the following link to update your McAfee Virus
Definition Files: sdat4293.exe

You will get one of two
screens at the "File Download" screen. One screen will give you
the option to "Run this program from its current location". Select
that option. If you get the other screen, it will give you the option to "Open"
the file. Select that option. Either screen performs the same function.

If you receive the
"Security Warning" screen, select "Yes".

You will then get the
"Welcome to the Network
Associates SuperDAT wizard" screen. Select the "Next" button.

You will then see the files being
loaded and updated.

When the update is complete, a final screen
will appear. Select the "Finish" button. (Note:
Some updates may prompt you to reboot. If so, rebooting is a
necessary step and should be completed to initiate the update.)
Your computer is now updated to the latest McAfee
protection from virus infection.
