My UHV Experience.
by Walter AnoruoThanks to the R.A.s at Jaguar Hall
Everyone raise your glasses. I would like to thank our guests of honor today: the wonderful men and women who make sure that theres some fun to be had at UHVs Jaguar Hall, even though there isnt much to do in this town.
The R.As at the dorm put in a lot of effort to make sure Jaguar Hall is similar to a dorm at a larger university such as St. Marys, Texas Lutheran, Schreiner University and other larger schools in Texas. Theres a lot of effort being put in, and they dont get fully appreciated for it. Its a hard job to do, especially when you try to keep young adults like myself and my soccer boys interested. :) I know sometimes not everyone participates in the events you plan for us, but the effort is noticed and appreciated. From the flag football games, to the poker night, pingpong tournaments, basketball tournament, the party that was hosted at the lounge and so on, its nice to know that you all care about us and do your best to make something out of nothing.
The party should have been more successful, just with a few tweaks here and there. I have some pointers that will get my guys and most of the people at Jaguar Hall to participate in another party if you all are willing to put in the effort again. A toast to Lauren Clark, Matthew and Marquis Hill, Ashley Townsend, Ashleigh Kellis-Carr, Anita Strange and Moses Olukoya. Thank you all for all the effort you put into keeping Jaguar Hall a decent place to live. Cheers! :)
