Component II: Faculty Time Commitments
Participating faculty will commit to three academies.
The summer academy will involve 3 days off-campus with CBC faculty. Faculty will discuss online pedagogy and design; developing teams and small groups; managing time when teaching online; and using Adobe Acrobat Connect, formerly Macromedia Breeze.
The fall academy will involve 48 hours of seat time over 12 weeks, combined face-to-face and online. This academy will focus on copyright and fair use, accessible course design, and ITV instruction.
The spring academy will involve 48 hours of seat time over 12 weeks, combined face-to-face and online. This academy will focus on advanced online instruction and multimedia skills.
