CBC Cougar Camp
The transition from high school to college requires a more refined set of skills to be successful. Study techniques, learning style, and the ability to access resources are skills that students must obtain or improve in order to have a fulfilling and successful college experience.
Cougar Camp will be held during summer to help participants identify the personal skills needed for success in higher education. This will be accomplished by
- helping students improve their study skills
- helping students identify their preferred learning style
- having students participate in learning communities
- showing students how to access learning resources, and establishing connections with faculty.
