Whether you're a working adult, interested in transferring or returning to college to complete a bachelor's degree, or want to come back to earn a master's degree, UHV is the place for you. 2. Talk to an adviser – Need help? Our friendly degree-plan counselors can answer your questions, point you in the right direction and talk to you about transferring your course credits from other schools, which you’ll need to do to become a UHV student.
   
   
3. Submit your application and admissions materials – Complete the Apply Texas Application and view other admission requirements, which are different for undergraduate,
   post-baccalaureate, graduate and international students. Additional forms, including the Concurrent Enrollment Form for students taking classes at a community college and UHV, also are available.
   
   
4. Apply for financial aid – Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. To see all Financial Aid forms click here.
   
   
5. Apply for scholarships – Complete the UHV Scholarship Application. To see all scholarship forms click here.
   
   
6. Important dates and deadlines – Keep your eyes on our calendar to learn about registration dates, payment deadlines, holidays, financial aid disbursements and other important dates during the school year.
   
   
7. Get your PeopleSoft ID and password – Approximately two days after applying to UHV, you’ll get an acknowledgement e-mail sent to your personal e-mail address.  It will include your PeopleSoft ID and temporary password that you’ll use to access PeopleSoft Self-Service, our online system that lets you check your admissions status and financial aid, register and pay your tuition.
   
   
8. Check your admissions status – You can check your admissions status by clicking on this link to login to PeopleSoft.
   
   
9. Register online for classes – With just a few clicks, you can enroll in all your classes once you’ve been admitted to UHV.
   
   
10. Pay tuition – You can easily pay your tuition through PeopleSoft.
    
    
11. Purchase course textbooks – Find out what textbooks you need for your classes and how to order them from home.
