Correspondence Testing
Students taking correspondence courses can have tests proctored at the Academic Center.
To take advantage of this appointment-only service, students should complete the following steps:
- Set an appointment by emailing Christy Esse at Email Christy or by calling 361.570.2488.
- Pay the testing fee ($10 for UHV students, $20 for non-UHV students). Because space is limited, the appointment cannot be reserved until the fee is paid with exact change, personal check, or money order. The testing fee can either be paid in person at the Academic Center (RM 129 in the University West Building) or mailed.
- Provide the institution issuing the correspondence test with the Academic Center address and proctor name:
Proctor: Christy Esse
Title: Academic Center Assistant
Address: University of Houston-Victoria
3007 N. Ben Wilson St., Suite 129W
Victoria, TX 77901
Phone: (361) 570.4288
Fax: (361) 580.5588
Email: essec@uhv.edu - Contact the Academic Center five days before the appointment to ensure the test has arrived. (Students must contact the issuing institution if the exam has not been delivered.)
The testing fee is non-refundable. The Academic Center can expedite test material shipments for an additional fee. (Contact Christy Esse for details.)
