GRE Subject Test

The University of Houston-Victoria is an official testing site for the paper-based GRE Subject Test on behalf Educational Testing Services.

The testing dates for 2011-2012 are as follows:

  • Saturday, October 15, 2011
  • Saturday, November 12, 2011
  • Saturday, April 21, 2012

Things to Know Before Taking the Subject GRE

Examinees should report to the University West Building (the entrance facing Red River St.).

Examinees should bring three or four sharpened pencils (no mechanical pencils or highlighters), their admission ticket, and a valid photo ID.

Cell phones (and other electronic communication devices) must be turned completely off. Using a cell phone or possessing a cell phone or other electronic communication device during testing is grounds for dismissal.
