The Academic Center provides a variety of testing services to UHV students and prospective students, staff, and faculty.

Most of the university’s testing services are offered in Victoria; however, the Center offers the HSRT and the Education Master's Comprehensive Exams in Sugar Land on behalf of the School of Nursing and the School of Education & Human Development, respectively.

Appointments are always required. You’ll need to set an appointment with the Academic Center to take certain tests, like make-up, correspondence, and Miller Analogies tests. To register for one of these exams (with the exception of the Miller Analogies Test) visit http://www.registerblast.com/uhv/exam.

To register for the Miller Analogies Test, call the Academic Center at 361.570.4288.

In other instances, registration for the test will happen through an external testing company (like the TExES/ExCET or Bilingual Proficiency Test exams). The links to the left provide additional information about most of the tests the Academic Center offers, including registration procedures.

Possession or use of cell phones or other devices may result in your dismissal from the testing room and the voiding of your test score. If you're taking a standardized test (e.g., TExES/ExCET, LSAT, or BTLPT), please read your admisssion ticket and other registration materials carefully.
