The Program in Taiwan is just one effort by UHV to project leadership in providing new opportunities for quality study abroad experiences for students not only at UHV, but at other interested universities, particularly in Texas. The Taiwan program, has the comprehensive goal of providing students with a study abroad experience that will prepare them to successfully participate in the global economy and positively impact their ability to make intelligent career choices. Experience and research have identified the most important elements of successful study abroad programs.
