London - How to Apply/Checklist
·
Deadline to apply is March 14, 2008. Flight
arrangements from Houston (or DFW) are made by Midwestern
State University. Apply early to assure flight
availability. Applications are taken on a first come,
first serve basis.

Biometric Information
required after December 3,
2007. All
applications for UK visas needing prior entry clearance,
including student visas, submitted on or after December
3, 2007 will require 'biometric' information as part of
the visa application process. Visa applications will not be
processed until the applicant has provided the necessary
biometric information.

Apply for the appropriate UHV
scholarship
2007 - 2008 UHV scholarship
2008 - 2009 UHV scholarship
·
Complete the
London Application and submit . (Non UHV students must
fill out the
Texas Common Application and be accepted as a transfer
student to UHV.)
·
Apply for any appropriate
financial aid, scholarships, loans, etc. Be sure to
consider future study abroad plans in filling out the
FAFSA
·
A non-refundable $250 deposit made payable to
Midwestern State University and your completed application
form and deposit should be sent to the address below. Deposit
will be refunded only if you are not accepted into the
program or your course is cancelled.

The
Course Articulation Form must be completed and
returned to UHV no later than April 15, 2008. All
required signatures must be obtained by the student.

Once your application is approved:
·
Prepare for travel by finalizing any travel documents
and/or arrangements. (ie Passports, airfare, insurance.)
Health precautions, (ie immunizations, prescriptions) and
any personal matters. An International Student Identity
Card may be obtained in Room 108 in the University West
Building, or you may purchase it online at
http://www.myisic.com/MyISIC/GetYourCard/GetYourCard1.aspx.
