Checking Financial Aid Disbursements:

In order for financial aid to disburse, you must:

• Accept financial aid awards.
• Satisfy all application and disbursement requirements listed in your Financial Aid To-Do List Items.
• Meet the conditions of the award.

1. Log in to PeopleSoft and choose UHV Self Service.
2. Choose Student Financials in the Learner Service area.
3. Choose Account Inquiry to view details about your financial account.
4. To view your financial aid award package, choose Financial Aid in the Learner Service area.
5. Choose View Financial Aid.
6. Choose the aid year you want to view.
7. If you have financial aid remaining after tuition and fees are paid, UHV will mail a check to the address on file in PeopleSoft. You can verify that the mailing address is correct by going to Campus Personal Information. (Choose Campus Personal Information from the left navigation) and then choose Addresses.
8. You will receive a Disbursement Notification e-mail from the Office of Financial Aid when your aid has been credited. The email will be sent to the student's UHV email account.

Please note: Loans only come on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from the Lenders. Credit files are sent to the Finance Office in the afternoons.

If your financial aid is disbursed at the beginning of the semester and you reduce your number of enrolled hours within the drop/add period, your aid will be adjusted to reflect your semester registration. If your reduced enrollment results in less eligibility for aid, you will be charged for the overpayment of financial aid - creating a balance due on your UHV student account. Any balance due will prevent future registration at UHV.
