How do I obtain my MyUHV password?

Directions for Obtaining Your MyUHV Password

If you have your MyUHV ID but can’t remember your password (or if you have been asked to reset your password), you can find out your password in five easy steps.

Step 1: Go to http://my.uh.edu and choose (click on) Log In to MyUHV.

Step 2: Choose Forgot Your Password? on the log-in screen.

Step 3: A screen like the one below will appear. Enter your MyUHV ID in the User ID section and then choose Continue.

Step 4: In the next screen that appears (similar to the one below), you’ll have two steps.

First, you’ll need to make note of your “Email ID.” The email address that appears here will be where your password is sent (this Email ID cannot be changed on this screen).

(Usually, the email address in Email ID will be your UHV email account since this email account is the most secure way that the university can send security-sensitive information to you.)

Second, you’ll need to enter your date of birth in the Response section and then choose Email New Password.

Step 5: Check the email account listed in the Email ID section above for your new MyUHV password. You’ll need your MyUHV ID and this new password to log on to MyUHV.
