Meetings

Student Senate meetings are held every Sunday at Jaguar Hall. Meetings are held at 8:00pm and are open to the entire UHV community. We encourage anyone who is interested to attend.

House of Student Representatives

House is the voice of the student body. As a member of House, you will be empowered to seek out student opinions, develop a solution, and write/debate legislation designed to improve the UHV experience. Whether you choose to run for office or serve on a committee, in House, your opinion always counts. Elections for first-year positions and vacancies occur each fall; the general election is held each April. All students, elected or not, are invited to serve on one of the six House committees: Academic Affairs, Campus Advancement, Dining Services, Elections & Regulations, Finance, and Student Relations. House meetings are open to everyone and are held at 5pm every Tuesday in the University Union Governance Chambers. For more information, email studentsenate@uhv.edu
