Multicultural Affairs coordinates educational, cultural, and social programs to foster experiences which create intercultural global citizens who are prepared to thrive in diverse environments. Multicultural Affairs assist students with understanding and appreciating a variety of identities. Through initiatives such as Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, Native American Heritage Month, Pride Week, Women’s History Month and Irish Heritage Month students are educated on cross cultural competencies and personal empowerment. Students are also given the opportunity to join student organizations that represent different ethnicities.
