To promote research, instruction, public service and other sponsored activities by providing high quality administrative services to faculty and staff.  The ORA provides supportive, proactive, and dynamic environment for conducting research and sponsored programs by:

• motivating faculty to pursue new and varied research opportunities
• encouraging creative approaches to the development of new sponsored programs
• promoting interdisciplinary and interdepartmental cooperation
• fostering the enrichment of students and teaching

ORA is committed to reducing the administrative burden on faculty, administrators, and staff by providing efficient, effective and personal service. Finally, through the interaction of pre-award and post-award knowledge and skills, ORA seeks to safeguard the University by ensuring compliance with internal and external regulation, policies, and procedures.
